Extreme Archery
Do you love to feel the rush of adrenaline pumping through your veins? If so, you have to give extreme archery a try.
To define extreme archery is a difficult task, since many people have many different ways of going about this sport. Essentially, this type of archery involves either a truck or a group of people on foot. In many ways, the truck type makes the most sense, so let’s begin there. As with any other sport that can be considered “extreme,” this one is risky, a lot of fun, and rather difficult.
Remember those old days when cowboys rode on horseback shooting at anything in their path? Well, if you place a bunch of modern day archers in the back of a pickup truck, you may be able to envision what this new sport is like. Rather than ride a horse, these archers ride around in a truck shooting at target that are far away from them. The faster the truck goes, the more difficult the shot becomes, and those that are able to shoot the most shot accurately win the game. Now, let’s talk about those that are taking this sport to a whole new level.
There are some modern archers out there that have little use for a truck. Instead, they are taking their bows and arrows across mountain peaks on foot. Obviously, these areas have been secured prior to the event that take place within them, though the sport remains somewhat dangerous. Usually, a group of five or more people will put on their running shoes in order to find their way across all those peaks and dips. The object of the game is to shoot the targets that have been placed strategically throughout the cliffs. Most of the time, this form of extreme archery is only attended by those that have a lot of stamina.
Even if you are not the world’s best archer, these sports may be right up your alley for the sheer thrill of it all. From riding in the back of a bumpy truck to running mountainous peaks, you have to be confident that you know a thing or two about remaining calm while participating in these activities.
Now that you know about extreme archery are you willing to give it a shot? Organize a group of your fellow archers today, and see what really shooting feels like.
